Launch of a new loyalty podcast: Notes & Books. Loyalty Magic.

That’s my hallucination.

Actually, for those of you going down the Artificial Intelligence vortex (for me some of it seems close to Actual Intelligence) will be familiar with notebooklm.google.com

If you can’t spot my hallucination, then here it is: notebook = Notes & Books and lm = Loyalty Magic.

Nope, I am not going to be producing a new loyalty podcast.

I get too much Joyalty* Moments of Magic from the:

Annual customer loyalty and loyalty program research For Love or Money^TM (17 editions to-date and 2025 in planning)
The not so regular vlogcast ‘The Professor and The Practitioner’ (watch out for series #4) and
Loyalty Leader interviews (36 to-date and more in 2025)

So, no new loyalty podcast from me.

BUT, woweeee, the podcasts created by notebooklm.google.com of the 2024 report For Love or Money^TM and my paper ‘The new Loyalty Program is a Joyalty* Program’ have astounded me!

That is the reason I am writing about this again.

For the second time, I asked notebooklm.google.com to create an audio (AKA podcast) of the same 2024 For Love or Money^TM report, wondering what would be the same or different.

And this time I was blown even further away.

The second time it was 19 minutes (first was 14 minutes) and they (the two not so real, real hosts) went even deeper and wider into the research, adding more ‘points of view’.

This time they even constructively critiqued it (I was not offended).

There was a bit more hallucination in it, notably how they interpreted my Six Currencies of Collection Loyalty Program Members care about, making up some new terms!

Reminder here for those who have not seen it:

And then there was a cracker insight, they added a new dimension to the currencies - from Value to Values ie another way of expressing ‘transactional currency’ = value vs ‘social/cause currency’ = values)

That’s added a new idea for my 2025 report!

It’s a bit weird (maybe even self-indulgent), listening to other people (should I say voices) talking about your content, however, never mind that, it actually opens your mind to new perspectives and ideas!

So, what’s the point of this post.
