It’s back!
The Professor and The Practitioner vlogcast mini-series is back with Professor Yuping Liu-Thompkins, PhD, CLMP.
I have been following Yuping Liu-Thompkins, PhD, CLMP for some years now and along with 400 or so loyalty enthusiasts, I was lucky enough to see her at the Australian Loyalty Association conference and she was one of the outstanding presentations.
To have the opportunity for a one-one discussion (and debate) with Yuping Liu-Thompkins, PhD, CLMP on our vlogcast mini-series was long-time in the planning and it surpassed all my expectations.
This is episode 1 of 3, where we start our discussion off with ‘What is loyalty? Does it really exist?'
Three of the highlights (there are many) from the 25+ minutes include:
1. Loyalty as an onion (more about the layers than the tears)
2. Three different definitions peeled back with examples:
- meaning based loyalty
- system based loyalty (network of things) and
- automated (habit) based loyalty.
3. Loyalty from your customers point of view. Ask them… “what do you think loyalty is to our brand”?
