Is your loyalty program remarkable**?

**Thank you, Seth Godin for Purple Cow. Page 3 “Something remarkable is worth talking about. Worth noticing.  Exceptional. New. Interesting. It’s a purple cow. Boring stuff is invisible. It’s a brown cow.”

Transactionally focused loyalty programs are forgettable.

Memory focused programs are remarkable.

If you want a remarkable program, consider a loyalty program proposition review from two different perspectives.

(1) Find problems to solve. Not perks for the pocket.

  • Problems in the world around us.
  • Problems in the life of your customers.
  • Problems with the experience your customers have with your brand.

Solve problems with your loyalty program proposition.

(2) Shift (a little more) from planned and expected rewards to planned and unexpected delight.

I call it planned spontaneity.

I also call it  Joyalty* Moments of Magic.

Move from Loyalty Program to Joyalty* Program. There is finance in feelings.

For the eight planning principles of a Joyalty* Program with examples, email me adam@thepointofloyalty.com.au.

(Joyalty* = Your members’ feeling of maximum joy and delight from one or a series of Moments of Magic (MoMs) delivered by your program.)

(1) +(2) = Remarkable**

If you want to lift your loyalty program out of the winter snow of whiteness or the summer sea of sameness and move your program to be remarkable, then please contact me to discuss how we can make this a reality.

The benefits are more active members, spending more, more often over the longer term PLUS sharing with others!

Have a happy loyalty day!
