I have produced a 14 minute hosted podcast of my 117 page For Love or Money™ 2024 report.
What absolutely blew my mind and freaked me out was:
- I was not interviewed.
- I did not give any direction on flow, content, insights and stories.
- I did not edit it.
Two hosts ‘US based’ reviewed my whole report, synthesised the results and insights into a 14 minute discussion and had a chat about what the report found, interpreted the results into their personal real-life situation.
The chat was not static. It flowed. They reacted to what each other said.
I was sceptical of the validity of the content they referred to so I listened to it a number of times.
I also downloaded the script and converted it to text, read through it and while there were a few personal interpretations with different perspectives, the stats (%’s) mentioned were correct and sections of the report were accurate.
They even had a chat about Joyalty*
It was all produced in under 3 minutes on notebooklm.google.com
What does this all mean for podcasting?
I don’t believe the humanity and empathy of people engaging … eye contact, the breath, body language, the natural transition of one comment going in a new direction flow and all the humanity of the heart beat…BUT… this still has made me wonder as it's so damn close to being real!
Unbelievable becoming believable!
